Paul Gant obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Psychology from Tufts University in Medford Massachusetts in 1984. Paul obtained his Juris Doctorate from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco California, where he served on the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly Journal. Paul has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1992.
After beginning his career as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Labor, Paul became a litigator in Sacramento California in employment and labor matters, disability rights, and employment benefits. He then went on to serve as an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) in special education law, and later joined Kingsley Bogard LLP in 2004.
As a Partner at the firm since 2011, Paul supports our clients in a full range of public entity and school law matters, including student issues, special education, labor and employment, charter schools and general governance.
Paul takes pride in meeting the legal needs of the public school districts, safety departments and other governmental agencies that the firm serves. He understands that our clients and their executive leadership require prompt advice and efficient resolution of legal disputes in order to fulfill their duties with excellence, while preserving resources for the public good.
